The arterial blood supply of the urinary bladder is provided by the vesical arteries.

The upper part of the bladder is supplied by the superior vesical artery, which originates from the umbilical artery (from the anterior trunk of the internal iliac artery).

The lower part receives arterial blood from the inferior vesical artery, which is a branch of the internal iliac arteries.

Sometimes also obturator and inferior gluteal arteries (from the anterior trunk of the internal iliac artery) give branches to the bladder.

The venous drainage of the bladder is provided by the vesical veins, which arise from the vesical venous plexus - a network of small vessels located on the lateral and posterior surfaces of the bladder. The vesical veins flow into the internal iliac veins.
